Operating Department Orderly

At present there exists two vacancies within the ODO team for a well motivated and enthusiastic person, seeking to start a career within Healthcare / Theatres

The Level 5 Operating Theatres is a busy acute Department providing complex elective and emergency surgery within the Trust. Within the Department it employs a team of Orderlies to support patient movement, stock control and cleaning of the theatres. Experience of working as a Porter within the NHS would be advantageous to your application.

The role is both interesting and varied, however you must be committed reliable and enjoy working as part of a team. In return your personal development will be supported. This post provides an excellent opportunity to train as a Healthcare Assistant, Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.

Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
